Emotional Response

Essential oils have certain plant chemicals that can bring about an emotional response, or a change in emotions. Using essential oils or aromatherapy can help you to feel happier, less stressed or even more confident. Essential oils can help you feel more joyful and happy when you are feeling sad or grouchy. For a person who is in mourning from the loss of a loved one using essential oils is not going to make them suddenly feel all happy, but the oils can make them feel less over whelmed, less despondent and less hopeless. Some essential oils can help you feel more courageous, more alert and more self-confident, so use those when you have to give a report in front of a bunch of people.
There are many books written about aromatherapy and they
all tell you something different about the effects of essential oils.

One reason is because every body is different, each person’s health and emotional well being is different. Their food and life styles are different so people will react differently to essential oils. To add to that the complicated chemical makeup of the essential oils can be different also. The weather

conditions, soil conditions, when the plants are harvested, when and how the plants are
steam distilled can all have an effect on the chemical make-up of the essential oils.

About nball252

Hi, my name is Naomi, I am a Christian, certified aromatherapist. I also have an Associate Degree in Bible. I looked for books about aromatherapy from a Christian point of view and didn't find any, so I wrote one, The Aromatherapy Advocate. An introductory book for Christians on aromatherapy. I have one son whom I home schooled. I started using essential oils 10 years ago. I love the fragrances and I love the powerful benefits of using essential oils. I received my certificate about 10 years ago and have been teaching and writing about aromatherapy from a Christian perspective since then.
